This year’s theme fruit is the Pineapple.
I hope to see y’all there!
Hi y’all!
Come out to APIQ’s final meeting of the quarter, and the entire 2011-2012 school year! We want to thank you all personally, and from the bottoms of our hearts for being a part of APIQ this year. Without you all, the beauty of our shared space wouldn’t be as captivating as how we have it.
In this week’s meeting, we’ll be reliving our memories throughout the this wonderful year through various activities. It’ll be a SURPRISE so be sure to stop by and find out!
In addition, we’ll be assisting next year’s core members through the use of a suggestion box. So be sure to give your two cents and help APIQ run more smoothly next year!
Afterward, we will be eating at Fish’s Wild to bond, socialize, and rant about how we’re dreading finals! As we are gearing up for finals, we invite y’all to come relax, de-stress, and enjoy good food!

Anonymous asked: apiq seems unorganized this year. is the president handling this?
Hello there,
Thank you for pointing this out to us. However, if you can give us an example or explain why you think APIQ seems unorganized this year that would help us in terms of “handing” it. As APIQ Core, we are doing our best to organize and plan the general meetings to the best of our abilities. Please keep in mind that we are also students. We are proud of the work that we put into APIQ even though not everything is perfect. So, please elaborate more about what you mean that “APIQ seems unorganized this year” in order to help us improve.
Thank you,
APIQ Core
Anonymous asked: Trang, thank you for performing the poems on my behalf. If I wasn't so shy I'd come hug you right now, you're just three rows in front of me <3. I'll give you that hug one day, promise.
Hi, sorry for the late reply. It was my honor to be able to read the poem, thank you so much for submitting it. You are an amazing individual and I am looking forward to that hug one day :D

Hey hey hey APIQers!
Do any of y’all ever wonder about the history of APIQ? How did APIQ form? Who were the founders? And WHERE are they now?
Don’t y’all think we should have a celebration to all the former APIQers who’ve helped and continue to help pave the way for us APIQers? I think so :) And this is exactly what this event is all about.
Come, meet, mingle, reunite and GORGE as we have a Potluck social with as many APIQ Alumni as we can track and bring back! We’ll also be having a panel of Alumni APIQers who can tell of their experiences in APIQ and how it’s affected them today.
~~~UPDATE~~~
We weren’t able to assemble a panel for this Saturday, although they’ll still be loads of food, friends, and fun to go around :)
When? May 19, 2012
Time? 2PM-4PM
Place? Davis Farmers Market (between 3rd and B and 4th and C)
Why? Reunite with Alumni APIQers and meet some new ones!
If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a message! I hope to see all your beautiful faces there!
With everlasting love plus a big’ole bear hug,
APIQ core
PS Hey Alumnus! Interested on being on the panel? Send me a message! And invite as many APIQ Alumni you know!
Let’s make this happen!!!!
Hey Folks!
Let’s talk about something that is usually kept under wraps, beneath hush-hushes, and behind closed doors. Let’s talk about you and me. Let’s talk about all the good things and bad things that may be. Let’s talk about SEX, baby.
Let’s breakdown this controversial topic. Let’s define what being sex-positive/negative is. Let’s discuss who deems what to be taboo, and whether it’s appropriately deemed so.
Logistics:
When? Thursday May 10th 7-9PM
Where? LGBTRC
Come with an open-mind and a willingness to share!
Forever Yours,
APIQ Core
